Brazilian Laser Hair Removal

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Brazilizan laser hair removal (removal of hair in the genital area) is popular and effective and almost permanent. In this area inflammation and infection of the hair follicles often occurs when using a razor to remove the hair. This can cause painful lesions and even darkening of the skin from folliculitis. Using laser hair removal instead eliminates this effect. Some other laser systems can help in reduction of skin redness and darkening of skin that may have occurred from previous folliculitis.

Other methods of hair removal include shaving, waxing and using it to depilatory cream. Each of these methods have their disadvantages and advantages. Shaving and using a cream is inexpensive and can be done at home however the results are only temporary and as we noted earlier shaving can result in folliculitis especially when used in the genital area. Waxing, although more permanent,is not a good method to use for this sensitive area as it is too painful.Laser hair removal works by concentrating laser light on the roots of the hair deterring further hair growth. As it does not completely destroy the hair follicle there is a slight chance that the hair may regrow.
